United Way Elgin Middlesex Emergency Community Support Fund

We are proud to partner with United Way Centraide Canada to deliver the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund in Elgin and Middlesex counties.

United Way Elgin Middlesex received 60 applications from frontline agencies adapting their services to support vulnerable Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic. In total, 23 organizations received approximately $2.2M in grants to meet high priority needs across our region.

About the Emergency Community Support Fund

The Emergency Community Support Fund will help charities serve and support vulnerable Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic. This funding has been made available by the Government of Canada and is being administered by United Way Centraide Canada, Community Foundations of Canada and the Canadian Red Cross in communities from coast to coast. United Way Elgin Middlesex is proud to support this important investment by the Federal Government.

Grant applications are no longer being accepted by United Way Elgin Middlesex for the Emergency Community Support Fund.
