In the news: Purple and proud for United Way

Western University’s United Way campaign closed on a high note this year: More donors and more donations mean 7,530 people living in our region will get a fair shot at their best life. Staff, faculty, administration and students raised $619,475, making it the largest United Way employee/retiree giving campaign in Elgin Middlesex.

Western’s support is part of a shared legacy of working with United Way to address some of our region’s most pressing needs and build a community where everyone matters.

“Supporting United Way’s annual campaign is a longstanding tradition we’re proud to continue,” said Alan Shepard, Westerns President and Vice-Provost.
