Creating change across our region
Many donors motivated by the positive impact of their donation and a desire to make a difference have joined the Leadership ranks. Their continual engagement allows us to plan for a better future in Elgin Middlesex.
Leadership donors contribute through personal donations of $1,200 to $4,999. Together they form a network of more than 1,000 donors. Many of the companies, organizations, and unions that run campaigns in the workplace promote Leadership giving!

“I first connected with United Way back in high school in Windsor, when I proudly served as a student ambassador. From that moment on, I discovered the joy that comes from being part of something bigger than myself and supporting the incredible work United Way does in our community.
Through my workplace campaign, that connection has only grown stronger. Volunteering with partner agencies and seeing the impact up close has been eye-opening. It’s where I’ve truly seen lives changed and hope restored. When I had the privilege of serving as my workplace campaign chair, I gained a whole new perspective. I saw firsthand the incredible difference that leadership donors make in building a stronger, more caring community. We will ensure your $1,200+ leadership gift is used where it’s needed the most and will have the greatest impact for vulnerable people within our communities. Your gift will help:

sessions of professional counselling for a young person struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma.

hot meals delivered to isolated seniors or adults with disabilities. Paired with friendly check-ins.

young people have access to a Leadership Development Program.

Exclusive Engagement Opportunities
Access to awareness activities with agencies supported by United Way. Invitation to United Way events, volunteering engagements and support opportunities.
Networking Opportunities
Networking opportunities with people from all walks of life in the Elgin Middlesex community.
