Every day, people across Canada rely on 211 to find services and navigate systems that can otherwise feel difficult to access.
The service is available in more than 150 languages depending on the region, and every interaction connects individuals with trained Community Navigators who listen, understand, and guide people toward the most appropriate local resources. It is not just a helpline, but a human connection that can bring clarity when things feel complicated.
Housing stability and mental health support remain among the most frequently identified needs across the country, reflecting pressures many continue to experience. Information gathered through 211 helps governments, agencies, and organizations like United Way better understand where service gaps exist so communities can respond more effectively and advocate for the supports residents need.
